track price set by attach to indicator
I use the attach to indicator entry method often using MIT orders. sometimes, I notice that the order is not filled as the spread is bit high. is there a way, I can alert myself when my order price is just between the bid and ask so I can just make it into a market order?Tags: None

Hello junkone,
Thank you for your note.
Use an Order object to hold the order and then check it's level against the needed prices. If it meets the criteria then submit it as a different order.
For example:
Code:MyOrder = EnterLongMIT(Close[0] - (2 * TickSize)); if (MyOrder.StopPrice < GetCurrentAsk() && MyOrder.StopPrice > GetCurrentBid()) { MyOrder = EnterLong(); }

Hello junone,
You could check the order on the SuperDOM using a custom column and OnOrderUpdate(): http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...rderupdate.htm
