IsVisible in separate panel

Hi,

When the indicator is in a separate panel, and set the IsVisible property to false, the panel disappear, but its place remain empty, is this a bug? Shouldn't the visible panels fill the empty space?

Also, when the indicator start with IsVisible = false, and later set the property to true, the indicator show up in the price panel, even if the overlay is set to false. That looks like a bug.

Thank you for writing in.

If the script's IsVisible property is false, the panel will disappear, nothing about the indicator will be displayed, and the indicator will not be calculated. This would be expected.

For further clarification, can you please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing on your chart? I am not entirely clear of what you are seeing.

To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

I'm not able to reproduce the second scenario in your post.

So we may test this further, can you please provide the exact steps you have done in order to see this behavior? Are you checking the "Visible" parameter when right-clicking the chart and selecting Indicators? Or, are you removing the indicator from the chart, changing the IsVisible property to true in the code itself and then adding the indicator to the chart?

Are you currently running Beta 10?
