atata, thank you for your post!
As a first troubleshooter, please reload all the historical data by right-clicking in the background of your chart and selecting Reload All Historical Data.
If you see the same, I would just like to know which data provider you're connecting to so that I may test this on my end.Riley S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Rithmic is my data feed. Again NT 7 is fine and NT 8 seems to be ok with other instruments.
Reload all did not fix it and obviously that is the first thing I've tried.

Hello,
I am unable to replicate the issue you're having.
Please delete your historical data using the instructions provided at the following page of the NinjaTrader Help Guide:
Once the data has been deleted close NinjaTrader. Open the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder. Select all files then right mouse click and select "delete."
Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider. Open an new chart.
Please let me know if this resolves your issue.Alan P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

still not working however...
Alan, I did test this further.
1/ Followed the steps given.
2/ After restart and no connection chart was normal.
3/ Connected to IB -> all good
4/ Disconnect IB
5/ Connect Rithmic, reload all -> same junk came back as before...
That tells me there is nothing on my PC what would cause this issue. It is either Ninja historical data or Rithmic mess.
Please advise and thanks,
atata

Hello,
When I connected to Rithmic I was able to reproduce. I inquired with our IT department and they informed me that their aware of the issue and they do not have a current ETA on a resolution.
As a workaround you can exclude the bad historical data by going to Tools>Historical Data then selecting the Instrument 6J 09-15. Expand ‘Last’ and expand ‘Day’ and click on 2015. Scroll down to 7/3/2015 through 6/19/2015, right click on each day between those dates and click ‘Exclude’. I have attached a screen shot.
If you're looking at historical data for minute and tick, you would have exclude the bad ticks as well by expanding the Tick and Minute sections.
Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.Alan P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
