Symbol mapping from InteractiveBrokers may not work

COuld you fix that all new symbol add into instrument manager from IB works fine please, and complete the instrument manager with all new exchange and symbol that IB has ADD?

Hello bomberone1,

If an instrument is not present in NinjaTrader 8, you can manually create new instruments at Control Center-->Tools-->Instruments. The instrument needs to be setup correctly or else it will not work. Can you please tell me what instrument you added and what settings you used. Let me know what symbol map you entered for Interactive Brokers, what Currency is selected as well as the Exchange.

In addition, please tell me what specific exchanges you like to see added in NinjaTrader. Unfortunately I do not know what exchanges IB recently added.

The MIB30 is present by default and would be the "big" futures. It uses FTMIB|||5 as symbol map for Interactive Brokers. There is no "mini" instruments present by default. You can add it manually, however there is a known issue when using multiple futures instruments with similar mapping with Interactive Brokers.

You would map the "mini" futures as FTMIB|||1. However because of the limitation, please enter FTMIB-disabled|||1. This way you can use the "big" futures, but not the "mini" futures. If you like to trade the "mini" futures, please change the symbol map to FTMIB|||1 and change the symbol map for the MIB30 futures to FTMIB-disabled|||5. If you like to trade the MIB30 futures again, please change the mapping back and so on.

The same limitation can be seen with the DAX futures - FDAX and FDXM.

I already know.
The problem is that no futures is plotted and so be traded.
How long does it take to fik this bug into ninjatrader?
The only symbol that works fine is the FTMIB, the index.
Please, you tell me already what i alredy know, i need a solution fast to the problem.
Buy ninjatrader to not able to trade by interactivebrokers??
Multicharts and all other platform support well all italian stock and futures and custom mapping from IB or other Brokers.
I do like you told me to do, but nothing is plotted.

Can you please send me your database. Please go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support. Add 'Att Jason, Symbol mapping from InteractiveBrokers may not work' in the Subject field and enable 'Database file' under Other files. Subsequently click Send to send the email.
