Market analyser alerts - unhandled exemption

I am getting the following message when attempting to set up an alert using indicators in market analyser - "unhandled exemption the requested operation cannot be performed with a user mapped section open" the screens then freezes and I have to log out and log back in. Any ideas on what may be causing this ? Also is there a strategy wizard in ninja trader 8 ?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

As member sledge has posted, the new Strategy Builder is expected to be available in the next beta release.

For the Market Analyzer alerts, please send us your log and trace files via Help>Mail to platform support. Mark to atten:Paul and a link to this thread. Also please identify the step by step process to create the alerts (and ultimately the error) so that I can replicate what you were doing on my end.

I will send through the log and the steps that I have taken. It keeps coming up with Unhandled exemption and or that the alert can not be set on an open instrument and or when you set alerts it says at least one condition must be set even though conditions and actions have been set. The alerts in market analyser seems a bit buggy !

We have not as yet received your log and trace files. Please check your Ninjatrader control centers "Log" tab to see if there are any errors in sending.

If so, please e-mail directly to PlatformSupport[at]NinjaTrader[dot]Com with Atten:Paul and a link to this thread. In the e-mail please attach the last few log and trace files as well as a few screenshots of the alert conditions you are creating.

The log files can be found in Documents>NinjaTrader8>Log
The trace files can be found in Documents>Ninjatrader8>Trace.
