    Having this problem heaps also. Have to use the task manager end task command to shut down NT8.0.0.11 on the times it doesn't crash all by itself.

    Often times after I disconnect data and try to shut down NT, it just stays on screen like its frozen, just stck there. Left it for 1 1/2 tonight and it was still sitting there stuck u8ntil end task was used.

    Used computer fine for everything else during that time.

    We still have not received the files.


    We could try another method. Could you send the log and trace files in an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com as an attachment.



    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    I suspect NT bombed out as I was sending the file to you. I am having massive problems and have needed to use Task Manager to end the processes several times. Now NT has launched with a black background colour scheme! I've just sent log file again and received "Email sent successfully (I had this last time).

    Hello cognis0,

    I will need to see your log and trace for today look further into this inquiry.
    Could you please send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->EMail Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.
