I'm attempting to create a SpreadChartStyle. I *assume* I need access to AddDataSeries() to define my two instruments. This is not available right now in the chart style. If you can point me in the right direction that would be great.

From my understanding the ChartStyle does not create a bar series and does not have OnBarUpdate available. This means that AddDataSeries would not work in this type of script.
Instead you can use BarsRequest just about anywhere.

Would this script make more sense as an indicator similar to the spread indicators available for NinjaTrader 7?
Below is a link to the HeikenAshi indicator that hides the chart bars and replaces these will custom rendered bars.
