    Minute data doesn't load completely - NT8B11

    Hi

    When I load minute charts, the data is missing on the days I have not previously connected. The minute data for the current day is loaded, but for days in the past, the data is incomplete or not present.

    Reload All Historical Data fill in the missing data.

    Forgive me for asking this, as I know I've read something about it months ago, but I can't find it now.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    So that I may test on my end, what data provider are you connecting to?

      I connect to Kinetick Basic + Basic Forex.

      A bit more information:
      This morning for example, I had minute data missing from EURJPY from about 18:00 yesterday until the 01:00 candle. Other charts are missing form a different time, but all load today's minute data starting from midnight. It seems that the new data is loaded only for the current day.

      I'm on New Zealand time GMT+12.

        It may or not be related, but I'm also getting this error.
        "Error on requesting bars series: 'Cannot access a disposed object.' "

        This one occurred when I changed from EURCHF Daily to 240 minute. You can see the data is not complete on the 240 minute chart. I haven't looked at this pair on minute time frames for a while.

        Usually I can continue after I click OK on error message box, but sometimes after a couple of these NT crashes.

          Hello JellyBean, thank you for your posts!

          I wasn't able to reproduce this on my end while being connected to Kinetick. This could be caused by a data corruption. Let's test deleting the historical data cache. Please take the steps below:
          • Shutdown NinjaTrader
          • Navigate to the Documents -> NinjaTrader 8 -> db folder
          • Delete the Minute folder
          • Launch NinjaTrader


          If you see the same, please send me you log and trace files so that I may investigate this further.

          You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support...

            Hi Riley

            Thanks for your help with this. Unfortunately, the problem recurred, so I've emailed log & trace files as you suggested.

            I've started keeping a log of 'incidents' to see if I can identify a common cause. I've attached it here, with some screenshots referred to.
