NT7 and NT8 charts are not the same at roll over..

Hi there, it looks like the NT8 CL 08-16 chart is a "continuous" cl contract chart... is that on purpose or by...?

Thank you for contacting us for support. The CL 08-16 is not a continuous contact. Your data is being merged by default from the merge policy. Please refer to the following link for more information on the Merge policy:

That's fine if the merge is by design. Can you point me than into a direction why my CL ##-## won't chart at all? My data feed is Rithmic.

Thanks for your reply.
Continuous contracts are not supported with Rithmic in NinjaTrader 8.
In NinjaTrader 7 you can receive historical continuous contracts with Rithmic but no real time.
The way continuous contracts were built in NinjaTrader 7 with Rithmic is the same way as using the current front month with the default setting of MergeBackAdjusted.
In NinjaTrader 8 you can leave the default setting of MergeBackAdjusted and view the current front month.
