Cant see the Parenthesis partner in Ninjatrader 8 Editor

Hi,

I have been struggling to code in the NT8 editor as the highlight for the paired "{" is so faded that I can barely see it.

If (x == y)
{ //when i put the cursor on this one


}//this one gets highlighted

***********end example


The highlight is soooooo faint I spend so much time squinting at the screen trying to find the partner "}"... I have tried the dark and light skins but prob with both. How can we get it highlighting like in the NT7 editor?

Use the operating system to change the brightness and contrast of your screen.

The delimiter visibility will be improved in the next beta release of NinjaTrader 8.

My vote is that the delimiter highlight was more professional in B11 (similar to the default highlighting in Visual Studio).
Now in B12 it obscures the delimiter characters (and sometimes the insertion caret), but I can live with it.

My vote is with DaveE that the B12 delimiter highlight obscures the delimiter characters, making it difficult to find the caret location. It would be ideal to have a user option to select the thickness of the delimiter highlight.

We also recommend that you will likely find more benefit from Visual Studio in regards to customization and overall features as it is designed specifically for development. You can select the Visual Studio button on the top of the NinjaScript Editor toolbar to the far right to open the NinjaTrader 8 objects in Visual Studio.
