ATM no longer works with GER30 on FXCM

    ATM no longer works with GER30 on FXCM

    As of this morning, the ATM Strategy no longer works with the Dax CFD (@GER30) on FXCM.

    Please see the attached strategy parameters. I have been using these params for a long time (with different order quantities) and suddenly it is placing the stoploss with 2 points of the current price.

    Also, on the 2nd attachment, you can see how close stoploss and target have been placed to current price and the P&L is wrong too.

    This is obviously a change in how decimals are handled, but I don't see why it should change overnight!

    It gets weirder!

    Got this error message when trying to place a trade on GER30 using the same ATM in Sim:

      Hello simonkloot,

      Thank you for your post.

      The instrument and ATM strategy appear correct, but seem to be placing the orders closer. Please go to Tools > Database > and Update Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader 8 and try again on the Sim101 account.

        Hi Patrick,

        I did as you suggested, but I don't even get as far as placing a stop and limit now, as I get the error mentioned earlier.

        Sim101, Order '1602663da3da436c8cd56601e5e8d43d' can't be submitted. The OCO ID '1602663da3da436c8cd56601e5e8d43d' cannot be reused. Please use a new OCO ID. affected Order: Sell 22 Limit @ 9719.75

        I can get this to occur consistently now.

        So it seems that NT is generating duplicate order IDs for Dax. For EURUSD it's fine.

          The message is from a manually placed order with an ATM Strategy attached, correct? There is no NinjaScript strategy involved?

            Correct. A very simple strategy with one stop and target.

            I'd just like to add that without being able to trade the DAX (GER30), the software is unusable for me at present.

            I am happy to help you guys see the problem in realtime if you want to arrange a Skype call.
