B12: Unhandled exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I'm creating a new strategy in NT8 that alerts if the ADX is rising. I'm doing this to copy code over to an indicator. While the steps I took in NT7 we successful I'm getting the message: Unhandled exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I'min the strategy builder, conditions and actions. I enter signals conditions with out and problems (same as NT&). I then drop down to do the following, click add and then I get this popup error message. I'm following the same step in NT7 which worked OK.

Something I'm doing wrong?

It's probably not you. I think the strategy builder showed up in B10, or was it B11?
It hasn't been really tested yet completely. I reported a few things when it first came out because I was bored.

In the subject line add: Atten Paul and a link to this thread.

The strategy file can be found in Documents>NinjaTrader8>bin>Custom>Strategies and will be named the name of your strategy preceded by the "@" symbol, for example @XYZ.cs

NT8 Strategy Builder Unhandled Option

I am having the exact same issue. I've tried contacting NT support and they couldn't replicate the issue. They ended up telling me I couldn't use the strategy builder

The exceptions thrown when using the Strategy Builder have been reported to development and should be resolved in the next release of NinjaTrader 8.
