Setup Alert Sound

Hi Guys,

Can I please ask how many people here would like to see the ability to "choose" (select using a drop down box) the sound files used in the "Setup Sound Alert" in Indicator Properties.

To expect non PC users to be able to put the correct file path in this box is so out of date. We all moved from having to manually type in file paths, to using sections via drop down box when we moved from Dos to Window decades ago !

So can I please ask NinjaTrader that you make this change, because not only is using a drop down box more logical, more modern, but it will stop so many people making mistakes.............

Please anybody else think this is a better (and up to date) way to do this ?

There are examples of how to read and display the sounds files in your sound folder. This is what the Search function is for.
