Alert For MACD

I know the NT support doesn't program special requests but was hoping someone could lend a hand.

I'd like to do a simple alarm for when the MACD and the Average line cross (on the way down as well as on the way up). NT8 has the nice function of right clicking on the indicator and setting up the alarm. I'm not fluent in the programming lingo unfortunately.

Instead of picking price, select the MACD > MACD on the left and MACD > Avg on the right.

Add the MACD indicator to your chart.

In the alerts, select the MACD on the left.

What is the signal line you are referring to?
Is this a manually drawn horizontal line?

I figured out my problem. I did add MACD->Average to the right (which is the signal), but I forgot to set rearm to timer 1 second so that it would repeat. Is that right?

Hello trade2retire,

Setting the re-arm to 0 causes the alert to never re-arm. Meaning it will only alert once until NinjaTrader is restarted.

Setting the re-arm to 1 causes the alert to re-arm after 1 second, allowing for an alert once the condition is true again.
