Another Alert Question

In the attached picture I have circled two areas for my question.

What would be the configuration to have an alert fire but only when the gold line crosses above or below AND is pointing up or down. I know how to make an alert on the cross over or under but am stuck on having the gold line also pointing up or down as a condition.

Hello Terence,

Check that the indicator on the previous bar is less than the value of the indicator on the current bar. If it is, the slope is up.
(Use the Bars ago field to find the previous bars value of the indicator)

Last question: I have the cross above and cross below in one alert. Is this OK or do I need to make above and below separate alerts?

Hello Segwin,

You can have this in one alert, but you'll get the same message for both actions. If you want to get different messages in the Alerts window, you would want to set these up as different alerts.
