    NT8 Chart Rendering Bug

    Hello,

since the beginning of NT8 Beta (till now - B12) I am experiencing an inconvenient display bug in NT8 charts. If you are modifying indicator settings (add/remove/change settings), loading chart templates etc. than this drawing issue can happen from time to time (see first image). The second image just shows how it should look like. So NT8 is cutting off any indicator drawings to the right side of the chart. If you are scrolling this issue persists and is always cutting off everything to the right at the exact same position (so its like an invisible vertical wall at the cutoff area - where everything is truncated). In order to remedy this problem all you have to do is resize the chart again.
However since this hasn't been fixed till now I thought I would bring it up here to get some opinions to get it fixed (its not related to special indicators - it can happen to several indicators).

Hardware wise I am running a pretty powerful computer with a Nvidia Titan X graphics card on Windows 10.

Would be great if this could be looked at.

    Kind regards,
    Oliver

How are your crosshairs in full screen mode? laggy? (What resolutions?)

I am using it on 2 monitors.

Main monitor is a 32" EIZO with 4K resolution (3840x2160) and the other monitor is an older 24" EIZO with 1920x1200.

The crosshair is not laggy at all - everything smooth as silk. If I put a chart in Fullscreen mode yeah then its a little bit slower but not laggy - just not as smooth.

I experienced this bug from the beginning of the NT8 betas (started on beta8). So if you are reconfiguring indicator settings, than this may happen. Most of the time I see it with DrawRegion indicators - so any clouds or stuff suddenly gets cut off in the middle of the chart.

Just resize the chart or click on the candles so they are marked with dots and than drag them, removes the bug instantly.

        Kind regards,
        LD

This bug should be able to be reproduced...

especially since I can now confirm that the same is happening on a Surface Book (completely different hardware) and I have also seen it on another computer with a different graphics card - so its not related to a specific graphic card/pc either...

          Easiest way to reproduce:
Open a lot of charts with indicators that are drawing clouds (Drawregion...) etc. ! Then just startup ninjatrader and wait for the charts to be populated or simply reconfigure some of the indicators within the different windows. Suddenly the drawing bug may happen from time to time.

          Kind regards,
          Oliver

But there isn't any error shown... its just a rendering bug and if I resize the chart, its gone?
