Overlay Yesterday and Last Week on Chart

    Good morning all,

Is it possible to overlay the previous day and the current week on the same chart?
I have an image attached as to how it looks like on Tradestation.
The orange bar is yesterday as a OHLC bar. The blue bar is this week as a OHLC bar.
The lines are the previous day OHLC for reference.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello DayTrader12,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, this can be done and there are a couple of ways to view this. I've attached two screenshots where the difference between the two is the chart property setting of Equidistant Bar spacing, It is set On in the file MTF-1 and OFF in the MTF -2. For reference I colored the daily bars brown or green and the weekly bars orange or blue.

        Hello DayTrader12,

        Thanks for your reply.

        To recreate the chart:

        1) Create a new chart, in the data series window:
        2) Add 3 instances of the data series.
        3) Set 1st dataseries to 60 minutes, turn off text and markers.
        4) Set 2nd dataseries to daily bars, change to OHLC bars, set colors as desired, set to panel 1, turn off text and markers, turn off trading hours breakline.
        5) Set 3rd dataseries to weekly bars, change to OHLC bars, set colors as desired, set to panel 1, turn off text and markers, turn off trading hours breakline.
        6) click OK.

Option, Right mouse click on chart, select "Properties", uncheck "Equidistant bar spacing".

            Good morning Paul,
Continuing on my two data series question, I have an idea for entries using a trailing buy stop for a long entry, and a trailing sell stop for a short entry using two dataseries on my chart and I am wondering if I can edit the code for the ATM strategy to accomplish this. Yesterday, the e-Mini Dow closed near the high of the day. I want to buy with a buy stop if price goes below yesterday's close, and then crosses back above the close.
In this example below, data1 is a 60 minute chart and data2 is a 1440 minute chart, and the low of data1 goes below the close of data2 and the close of data1 is greater than the close of data2 then buy at the open of the next bar.
1: can the ATM strategy code be edited for something like this, or is there another way to accomplish this without editing the ATM strategy code?

            Thanks in advance,

              Hello DayTrader12,

              Thanks for your post.

You would not be able to use an ATM for order entry.

In this case you would need to create a Ninjascript based strategy using either the strategy builder or Ninjascript itself.
