Multi Broker

When RC1 starts I no longer see the "MultiBroker" flash along with the :Live Trading" and "Simulated Trading"..... did something happen to MultiBroker?

The information which displays in the splash screen is controlled by your license key. I would expect "Multi Broker" to display if a sim key or multi broker key was entered, but not if a Direct Edition on Single Broker key was entered.

Write in to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[dot]com and include your license key. You can find this under Help > License Key. We can then test on our end if your key is behaving unexpectedly.

I see it, although I'm using the @SIM key.

I see "Simulated Trading" then "Multi Broker".

Does help->about show Multi Broker in the title?

I haven't tried with my Live key.

When I open NT7 (same license key) the "multi broker" splash shows up.
I am not using a SIM key....using my regular key

I did a bit more testing.....(but first I removed NT8 and reloaded it from scratch....I noticed that today's download was slightly different size than the one I downloaded from Sep 1)....
When the first "splash" screen after the reload came up, it had a "SIM" key, and the multi broker flashed. After I replaced the sim-key with my real key, the multibroker seems to have gone away.

Surely you are not suggesting that I can't use the multibroker license to trade live???

My correct Ninja License shows up on both NT7 and NT8....
.....but NT8 shows no sign of "MultiBroker Enabled"....nor does the NT8 flash screen that pops up when starting NT8, have Multibroker anywhere on it. Both of those things are in place when I open NT7 using the exact same license ID.


My question to Ninja Support (perhaps poorly phrased) was simply "is multibroker really enabled on NT8....and as a side question, "If so, why doesn't the flash screen or the "about" screen mention it...

NT8B9 did display a splash screen with a live multi-broker key:

Simulated Trading
Live Trading
Multi-Broker

There is nothing in help->about to say multibroker - but it looks like just about everything is listed.


update:
NT8B13-RC1

displays in splash with live multi broker key tested above:
Simulated Trading
Live Trading


So yes, it is missing (but probably still works as multibroker?)


I better exit out as I think I'm in violation now of license terms testing on another machine.

Yep.... that is my question as well.....did Ninja simply disable the MultiBroker 'splash' screen and verification that it was enabled....or is MultiBroker disabled.
