    RC1 chart loses interactivity

Upgraded to RC1 yesterday. At that time I could interact with the chart.
Left chart running overnight. This morning if I try to do anything with the chart (click on it) the Control Center title bar flashes rapidly (perhaps 5 times). But I cant control anything on the chart (cant even close it using its user interface).
Chart is still being updated by price feed.
No error is recorded in log overnight (except price feed connection lost and re-connected).
I had to close the chart using Windows 10 taskbar right click 'Close Window' to resolve problem.
However when I try to rebuild the chart.
Using "New Chart" wait, nothing happens!
Try it again the dialog window opens.
This sequence is repeatable (only works every other attempt).
    Disconnected price feed OK.
Tried to close NT using the x on Control Center. This caused all interactivity to all NT windows to stop, but NT did not close down.
Tried to close NT windows using Windows 10 taskbar, but using this to close NinjaSript Editor window caused error "Unhandled exception: Not enough quota is available to process the command".
Also got messagebox "Save changes to indicator xyz?" however this had no interactivity (so could not save changes).
Attempts to close NT using taskbar failed.
Since everything was working yesterday I assume that RC1 has a memory leak problem.

Not what I would expect for a release candidate.
I did not experience this problem in previous betas.

a client of mine has reported this same error message and I'm posting the image he sent me. I do not yet know the steps taken to create this error.

      Hi Dave,

Sorry to hear of the trouble - we definitely look at this as a critical issue.

I understand that there was not any information written to the log file. However, there could be more information in the trace file that could help us pinpoint the cause and resolve. Even if there are no errors, the trace provides detailed information concerning your operating environment that would be beneficial to know.

Can you please send us your log and trace files to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com?

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
      • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
      • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
      • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
      • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

Please reference ticket # 1568387 in the subject of the email.

I would like to ask a few questions to get some ideas on what might have caused the behavior. You may feel free to respond to these publically, or in the email with your trace files.

      • Since you said you were running overnight, do you know if you have your monitors set to turn off after X number of minutes? If so, were your monitors off when you returned to the computer and found your charts in a state where you could not interact with them?
      • What data provider were you connected to when you lost connection? Do you use more than one? Do you have any "Preferred" connections setup under Tools-> Option-> Market Data?
      • Were you running any automated strategies overnight?
      • What other windows did you have on the workspace? Were you using the Strategy Analyzer at any point before you left NinjaTrader last night?

      Thanks in advance.
