backup reminder bug?

Hi,

Just a small one, perhaps.

I set the app to request a backup each Monday. I tried a few times. It does ask when you exit, but even if you say yes, it just terminates without doing any backups. This is on RC1.

I was able to replicate this on my end. I will inform the Development Team. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Just an FYI - This issue still exists in RC2

Are there any files within your Documents > NinjaTrader 8 backup folder?

Hi - Actually, there are, and around the correct time. I'm afraid I did not check the folder. Backups normally take some time and there was a status shown. Yesterday when it prompted me, it just quit. No feedback. Looked the same, so I (incorrectly) assumed it did not do it. It does look like it did.

Sorry for that. Looks like it is fixed (could do with a 'backup ok' message though!).

When I tested this on my end I also noticed that the backup was created very quickly and there was no notification that it completed. I've submitted a feature request for exactly what you suggested.
