    define a transparent Color from script

    Hi
    I develop indicator in NT8 B13
    I use SharpDx methods for display
    The logic of the indicator (inside onrender) Is such that sometimes I want to draw a text on the screen and later I want to draw a rectangle with non-transparent fill color
    This rectangle hide the text
    I want to make the rectangle fill color transparent (from inside the script) so that it will be easy to see the text
    How can I do it ?

    Hello doron,

    Thank you for your post.

    You should be able to define the color as you have for any other items. Review the CustomPlotSample under New > NinjaScript Editor > Indicators, if you are still having trouble.

      I can not find the sample you refer to.

      This how I define a color
      public System.Windows.Media.Brush VWapColorUp1 - = Brushes.Blue;

      this is how I convert it in order to use it with sharpdx methods

      public SharpDX.Direct2D1.Brush VWAPBrushUp1 = VWapColorUp1.ToDxBrush(RenderTarget);

      how do i make this color transparent ?

        Hello doron,

        Thank you for your response.

        The file is named SampleCustomPlot in NinjaTrader 8.
