Is there a setting I need to change, or is the downloaded replay data not millisecond time-stamped? Do I need to record my own replay data to get millisecond playback?

Market Replay playback resolution - millisecond
I scalp exclusively off the DOM order flow. The 1 second refresh rate for NT7 market replay simply didn't work for me for practice. So I installed NT8 today. But after downloading today's replay data, it is still only updating my DOM in 1 second bursts, nothing like the flow of live data. I had read that NT8 was supposed to provide replay at 100mS resolution rather than 1 second like NT7. My DOM is Jigsaw and the update rate is set to 50 milliseconds.

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Market Replay data is recorded down the millisecond however due to performance reasons the user interface will only update each second.
Keep in mind even though the SuperDOM, Chart, etc. are only updated each second orders would be executed if triggered by the data recorded down to the millisecond.Last edited by NinjaTrader_ChristopherJ; 10-04-2016, 07:47 AM.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service
