strategy analyzer bugs

I'm having issues with the strategy analyzer results:

bug #01: strategy analyzer -> backtest type optimization
Sorting the results (using the arrow icon right of the col name) is almost always incorrect as the first row doesn't move (screenshot #01, total net profit).

bug #02: strategy analyzer -> backtest type standard
Changing the display function (after the backtest calculation has ended) from 'summary($)' to let's say 'summary(%)' ends in an NT8 crash (screenshot #02).
Changing the display function within 'backtest type optimization' behaves as expected without crash.

I wasn't quite able to see what you were seeing in RC2. I made a short video where I attempted to go over the steps you sent. I was hoping you could review this video, and let me know if I needed to do anything differently. Thanks once again for your report and for using NinjaTrader 8.

Hi Jessica,

Bug#01 optimization: try using one single stock/future and optimize the strategy parameters (in your video both slow and fast MA are set to 10 and 25. Set it to i.e. 5;10;1 and 20:25;1 and run it. Sorting the cols, the first row doesn't move.

Bug#01 doesn't crash, only the sort function is not working properly. In your video you mixed up the 2 bugs.

bug#02 standard: using the Sample MA crossover strategy, NT doesn't crash. I suppose there is something wrong with my strategy.

You're almost there: Please replace the data series instrument <Dow 30> with a single stock or future (ie. AAPL, IBM or E-mini, see screenshot 3a).

Basket backtest results will be shown in a different manner than a single instrument. This should get you a backtest overview as shown in screenshot 3b.
