Enter keypress not equivalent to OK button

I see that RC2 [Enter] key behavior in properties dialog boxes has been changed so that it immediately accepts the dialog, whereas in RC1 it merely accepted the value in a property field. I remember that a request was made for this change to conform to standard keypress behavior of Windows dialog boxes.

There's a problem with this new behavior. It seems to me that the [Enter] keypress should also accept a changed field value. It does not. If you modify a property value and press [Enter] the modification is discarded.

tradesmart, thank you for your post!

I was able to reproduce this and I couldn't find any reports on this so I submitted this to our QA team for further analysis.

I'll update this thread once we find out more.

      Tradesmart,

It appears that this item should be resolved in the next release of NinjaTrader 8.

      Thanks for reporting!
