    Dynamic SuperDOM Hold Thoughs

When the SuperDOM is held when the mouse is over the DOM, the DOM is no longer updating. Not moving around is great, but not updating is an issue. For example, you need to see updates if you are waiting to see something while trying to enter/exit (price/bid/ask/indicator), or while hovering the mouse over the DOM price could move away from you.

Would it be possible to add one or both of these options:

    * Enable/Disable the hold function via an option on the DOM (default on)

    * Allow the updates to continue, but do not move price while the mouse is over the DOM

The enable/disable option would be the minimum to make this usable IMO.

If we changed this, we would be in violation of a patent held by Trading Technologies. The "static" SuperDOM which is licensed and does what you want.

Ok, I was afraid of that. In that case, I would ask for the simple option to not hold at all (like in NT7 with no space bar). In its current form, it is completely unusable in some use cases.

To clarify, do you mean to not hold prices while the mouse is hovering within the price ladder area?

Yes, please. Pure dynamic, no holding.

                  Hello,

Yes, I have requested this feature before as well and was told it would be considered.

I would like the price ladder to freeze its position while the mouse is hovered over, but I would like the price and buy / sell columns to remain active. Basically, just hold the entire SuperDOM from re-centering... so if the price were to move extremely high it would disappear from the screen, but once the mouse was moved away it would auto-center again.
