Hello turbofib, and thank you for your question.

Reloading NinjaScript will in fact reset your strategy or indicator, running through the code in OnStateChange again. Since Ninja must simulate the actions of the trade desk for your historical data, it is possible for inconsistencies between reloads to occur.

Please let us know if there are any other ways we may help.

      hi, i execute some test...

i reset all variable in OnStateChange(), but sometimes when i reload script...it change over the previous..

It could be a problem to erase the previous rendering?

So that we may narrow down what is occurring, could you send before and after screenshots?

To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.
Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Thank you for this additional information. Would it also be possible to provide a simplified version of your strategy which produces similar behavior?

We can work without this information. Could you attempt to use your indicator with the playback connection, rewinding and replaying over the same section of data, and let us know if you get inconsistent results?

This help guide page has instructions regarding the playback connection.

                http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...connection.htm

If this works with the playback connection, this means that your indicator is working reliably and as expected. If it is not consistent with the playback connection, please let us know so we may investigate further.

Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.
You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.
Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

                          Hello turbofib,

After carefully reviewing your log and trace files and trying some experiments on my end, what is occurring is that you are modifying a Direct2D element that should be static. This is often caused, for example, by re-using a Direct2D element that should be frozen. You will need to review your code near where you use elements such as Brushes and RenderTargets. This section of the help guide should help you get started debugging.

                          http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...ightsub=freeze

Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help.
