Change the Default Footprint Chart

Hi,

Is there a way to make NinjaTraders Footprint chart (Volumetric Chart) look like this footprint chart?

If so, how? If not is there a third party footprint chart I could install that looks like the one attached?

Thank you for the question.

From the Screenshot, we can see that is the NinjaTrader 7 Platform and that the Indicator being used is called "Order Flows Trader"

• Since this is a 3rd party NinjaScript Add-on, I was unable to replicate it exactly
• Although, I was able to get something close within NinjaTrader 8
  • If the example below does not work for you, please go to where you found the screenshot you provided and ask them where to get the add-on they are using.

Please know that this is only possible within NinjaTrader 8 and you must have the Lifetime License Key to be able to use the Order Flow Volumetric Bar type:



Please know that this is not a suggestion of the exact values and settings that you should set your charts up with.
This is an example of the settings you could modify to get similar results. You would want to adjust the settings until you find the exact combination that is correct for you.

Is there a way to remove NT8s colored boxes around the candle & just have the candle stick with the Bid/Ask on either side like NT7?

Thank you for the follow-up question.

Please remember the example showing in NinjaTrader 7 is actually a 3rd party add-on that was added to the platform and is not available by default. So, we have no documentation on how that indicator works and what settings were in use to make it look that way.

• We are just able to look at the screenshot provided and do our best to replicate it using the settings available
• If you want the exact same thing, you would need to find the developer of the add-on in your screenshot and reach out to them for more information on getting their NinjaScript Add-on and how to use it to make your charts look the same way.

Within NinjaTrader 8, you can modify the following settings to get the grids next to the Candles to appear without a color in the background:

Thanks Clayton!!! I was looking for love in the wrong place..........duhhhhh its in Data Series for the Foot Print/ Volumetric (vs indicators) display..........But have a look at my screenshot please. I cant seem to find the bar sizing and price level quantity limit to 10 levels adjustments to get them sized better to read:


Also awaiting that enhancement request # to get Delta (Bar) values and histogram added to each price level on each bar to make it end up looking like this:



Maybe some of the forum code guys can manipulate NT's data already there to display like above?
