That would explain why I couldn't get the same results.

I assumed that because zikonc post was in the 'AllGomRecorder Indicatos' thread that it was a GOM indicator.

sorry for the stupid question but what is the steps to use the indicator in its most simple form? it will works correctly using only the gomcd or i need to let the gomrecord running? I read the frist page and theres no tutorial there.

last time i tried gomcd a friend gave me the directions to use it but i don't remember.

I have heard that there is a free version floating around somewhere, so ill try to find that one before paying someone for it. Wonder why Gomi decided to hold the ladder back?
Anway, he's been generous with the rest of his work. Ill see what i can find.

Beta 11 with GOM indicators

Is anyone else having problems with Gom indicators after updating to beta 11? None of mine would compile.

updated GomPackage to 1.2 version.

Now we have :

Classes :

GomRecorderIndicator : the basic recording stuff

GomDeltaIndicator : this is a class derived from the recorder and that does the delta calculations (basically sets up some properties and instantiates a CalcDelta method)

Fixes/Additions/Bugs

• instantiated GomCD indicators don't work in NT7b11
• GomCDSMA has been replaced with GomCDMA, and you can chooses SMA or EMA. The indicator is also colored green/red depending if the MA is going up/down
• A bug has been corrected on GomVWAP and GomDeltaVolume that prevented update in real time
• GomVWAP now has a resetting time property. This VWAP uses Gom file so it is exact to the tick
• GomDeltaMomentum indicator has been added : as long as delta is on the same side, values are accumulated. Indicator is reset when delta changes direction
• GomDeltaVolume has been changed so that negative delta shows down bars. It now looks like GomCD on noncumulmative mode, but GomCD is more precise because you get the whole bar and not only the close. But people don't seem to like wicks (?)

Problem is that QCollector for IQFeed doesn't export data like QCollector for esignal (there are other trades on the subject I believe). Formats are completely different (who made that design choice ???)

So it won't work with the QCollector for IQFeed unfortunately, but you can export from IRT and use the IRT format.

Hello,

I got a couple of questions about the converter. I assume the above example is what the converter expects when converting data from Collector format to Gom format.

Is the volume in the highlighted blue row, the trade size? I am using IQfeed and the collector will not export with semi-colons so I am trying to format the data with a semi colon.

Secondly, how does the converter know what symbol the data belongs to? Is it file name. Looks like the IRT format has the symbol on every line.
