          Hi Ray

The indicator (Double Stochastic) does not change when you input a different PERIOD. Can this be corrected please.

Also, can the %D also be made visible.

          TIA

I modified the code to look at the Period parameter and added a parameter for the EMA period. The original version was using a 3 period. I defaulted it to 2 since I use Blau's original definition, butyou can make it whatever you like.

Thanks for your effort. An improvement.

What would be good is an additional ema smoothing so its similar to Bressert's Double Stochastic. I have it in eSignal and Tradestation and its more useable as its much smoother and the tops and bottoms are more readily identifiable as tops and bottoms rather than a wiggle.

                When I combine a 10 period and a 5 period DS I only see the 10 period.
When i only want the 5 period it stays the same. It seems that the 10 is fixed and cannot be changed ?

Thanks for your suggestion. We'll add it to the list of future considerations.

Not sure what you mean by your comments on "10 period" and "5 period".

the 5 period is the DS of the undelying chart. for example when i have a 5 minute chart, the 5 period DS shows the 10 period DS of the 2 min. chart. The 5 period in the 5 min. is an indication.

If 2 or more charts form a bottom together, then this is a strong signal.

So if the 10 period and the 5 period start to go up, you have a strong long signal, if RSI and MACD are accordingly. Over 80% chance.

I have downloade the MOD file and this works now, so problem is solved.

Next problem is to import the symbols I need, but that is in a new thread.

I downloaded & imported the DStochZeroLag indicator & it seems to work almost flawlessly with the exception of the line disappearing from time to time unless I keep hitting F5 to redraw. Is there something I can do to correct this problem? I tried it on my work computer (running XP) and on my home laptop (running Vista) & it seems to happen in both operating systems (Running the latest version of Ninja). Thanks for your help.

I can't import this, it says there is a compile error. I noticed it's named the same as the original included with Ninjatrader, I think that's the problem.

I assume you are talking about NT7. I have changed Gumphrie's version to work with NT7. (Export attached.)
