Stockastic OverLay

Hi alfa123,

The StochasticsColors Indicator I posted can be used in NinjaTrader 7, where you have the option to overlay the indicator:

Right click>Indicators>Panel>Same as input series
Right click>Indicators>Scale justification>Left (or overlay

Guys, when I put the Stochastic on Panel 1 (or Same as input series), and choose justification Left or justification Overlay, and then click OK, the Stochastic lines appear on the price panel as they should. BUT -- if I then right click on chart, choose "Data Series" from the popup menu, and click Apply on the Data Series window (making changes or not), the Stochastic justification automatically gets reset to "Right," which typically scrunches up the price bars on the price panel so much as to make them unuseable.

Is this a known problem, and can it be fixed? That is, can't the Stochastic maintain it's justification after the Data Series window is opened and closed?

i have the same problem.as soon as i load (strategy) after this indicator,it mess up all bars.but if just refresh chart,its ok.i usually do every thing before i load this indicator and then it work fine.Tim is the man knows better than we do.

I'm also having the same problem with an idicator called CandleClear that is plotted on the charts with a scale justification of overlay. Every time I change the End Date, for some reason the scale justification automatically changes to 'Right'. THis did not happen prior to version NT7.0.0.20.

Guys, there are quite a few scenarios present in b20 that lead to the scale changing to right without explicitly setting it. Please try again when the next beta is released.

Could you clarify? The indicator you mentioned modifies the bar type, can you provide the steps you used to produce the issue?
