hi, you must also instal panel CCI version 7 I guess.

CCI plots

The type of bars determines whether this function will work. Only Range bars will actually plot an accurate range. Unless the bar type has a fixed range - this section of the indicator cannot predict a range of mean prices that the bar will close at.

I.E. With a Harmonic, Renko or Woodie's type bar, the pulback values can vary widely. It is possible to modify this indicator section to calculate a range of variables that can be entered in the indicator setup panel - and some may have done that.as in a Renko bar setting the max up movement to 10 ticks and the max down movement to 10 ticks - thus you are plotting a possible mean price variance of 20 ticks.

Yes it is in the indicator code. I did this once - though did not find it very useful. Seems i pulled the code for the panel setup out of a indicator called "CCI Forecaster" that SnapHook built several years ago.

My key problem though is that I am NOT seeing signals for ticks charts anywhere, inside or outside the congestion areas. That is why I suspect I may be forgetting a setting for tick charts.

You are correct, the CCI Forecaster does not seem to plot the patterns for Tick charts, although it works for most other bar types.

Hopefully, @snaphook will come back and chime on this.

Try this. Should work for most any Renko, such as Median, Wicked, SbS and Better.

Hello snapkook, first of all thank you very much for your great indicators for WCCI.

I have a question do you think there is possiblitiy to have projector only for cci values at possible close of the unirenko bars? I tried your ccirenko but is not working and I do not see any projector on it.

Have a question, would this indicator work in version 8 of ninja trader? because the moment I imported it, I get few errors :
namespace Drawing2D does not exist (line 8)
namespace IndicatorBase could not be found (line 3995)
namespace ColumnBase could not be found (line 4126)
namespace StrategtBase could not be found (line 4152)

and tons more

how to solve these issues for NT8 ?

If this is a script made for NinjaTrader 7 or previous, it will not import in NinjaTrader 8.

Did you actually import this from Tools > Import > NinjaScript Addon, or did you manually place the file in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom folder somewhere?
