Adding dataseries - how far back will added data extend

I am wondering if/how in NT7 I can access bar data for an added dataseries that extends back in time further that the days loaded for the primary data series charted. For example, if I load 15 days on a 5 minute chart, can I add a PeriodType.Week dataseries and then compare the High today to that of say 10 weeks ago (10weeks being >> than 15days)? Similarly, how many days of 5 minute data would need to be loaded on the chart to compare the High today to the weekly 50SMA? Is it the same for NT8? Thank-you.

    Hello REI140205,

    Thank you for the post.

In the Data Series menu of a chart, you can set "Load data based on" to "Bars" and that will load an equal number of bars for each series. That can be done in NinjaTrader 7 and 8.

Please also see this reference sample that shows how you can sync a secondary series to a primary series:

    https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...series_obj.htm - NinjaTrader 7

Please let me know if I can assist further.
