Please excuse the depth of my questions.Just got Nt7, mentor said I should simulate trading... However, how do i begin, do I need a license key? Etc...

Do i need a live account, set up with a brokerage? If someone could direct me towards my next steps. Thank You!

You can download NinjaTrader for free at the link below. When you download NinjaTrader, you may also request a free two-week demo account with live futures data. This will allow you to test the platform with a live market data feed:

When the two-week demo account expires, you can receive ongoing market data access into NinjaTrader by opening a live trading account. You can use the data from a live account for both live and simulated trading within the NinjaTrader platform.

If you still have not received a license key to use for simulated trading, please email platformsales[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com so we can send you a license key.

I sent an email. Another question I had. I set up an account with Phillip and got a free license key, however, do not know where obtain a user and pass for nt7? Im guessing I will need a user and pass for the demo I will receive?

Live account crednetials are sent after funding by the broker. Futures demo account credentials are sent directly from CQGTrader[AT]cqg[DOT}com. Please check your junk or spam folders for a message from that email address. The email typically takes about 15 minutes to arrive.

The login credentials for the NinjaTrader Continuum demo account will be sent to you in a separate email from CQG.

If you deposited funds into a live trading account with Phillip Capital, then you will need to contact brokeragesupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com to retrieve your login credentials.
