    Hello KeenEdge,

    Thanks for your post.

NinjaTrader 7 has rollovers defined for 12-20 contract months in the current database. Please make sure you have reset instruments after updating NinjaTrader to ensure the latest contract rollovers are included with the instrument definitions in your database. To do so, please navigate to the Control Center's Tools > Options > Data menu and select Reset Instruments. Please then restart your platform.

Instrument definition updates are included with database updates when we update the NinjaTrader 7 platform. A new release will have to be published with new instrument definitions for more contract periods to be available out-of-box. At this time, I cannot comment on when a new update will be released with instrument definition updates.

If you need to add additional contract periods, you can do so by editing the instrument definitions in the Control Center's Tools > Instrument Manager utility.

    We look forward to assisting.

I don't want to add them manually it's inconvenient
I understand that you have secretly stopped supporting version 7 and are forcing users to switch to version 8?
Before that, they appeared about 1 year before the end, and now there are six months left, but there are no rollovers.

        Hello KeenEdge,

The 12-20 contract months are there. Did you reset instruments to pull in the instrument definitions from the last update?

NinjaTrader 7 is still supported. Like always, we can't give an ETA on when a new release will be published. Newer instrument definitions would be included in an update and you would have to perform the Instrument Reset to add the new contract periods in your database after updating.

Attached is a screenshot looking at the contract rollovers for ES that I have in my database. (Version 7.0.1000.40)

        I look forward to assisting.

I have data for all contracts up to and including December 2020.
I have no data for 2021 or later. that's the problem.
Please release a new version with rollovers for 2021 and 2022 year.

if you have support, why don't you release a new version with new contracts?

              Hello KeenEdge,

I have just downloaded the latest installer from our Platform Direct page and looked at the Instrument Manager. Later contract months are pushed with the latest installer.

Please run this installer and perform an instrument reset. (Control Center > Tools > Options > Data > Reset Instruments)

Please then check for the new expiries in the Instrument Manager.

If issues persist, please reach out to me directly at platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with the text "Attn Jim 2711310" and include a link to this thread.

problem solved. You updated the program for a very long time and released the update late and I was worried that you would not release a new version
