Log Error: Failed to Execute DB Job

I just received this error in the Log Tab as well as a Pop Up Window. Could you provide an explanation for this so that I now what to look for when back tracking my code. First time I have seen this Error and I thought I managed to get them all LOL.

12/4/2008 10:05:43 AM Default Failed to execute DB job 'ExecutionUpdateJob': Operation must use an updateable query.

    Hello,

I do not know what caused this.

    Please try repairing your database:
1.Go to Tools --> Options --> Misc --> Repair DB
    2. Then reboot your PC.
Please try repairing your NinjaTrader Installation:
    1.Shut Down NinjaTrader
2.Go to Uninstall Programs in the Windows Control Panel
3.Select NinjaTrader and hit the "repair" button
If that does not work, try deleting your database:
    1.Shut Down NinjaTrader
    2.Go to \Documents\NinjaTrader6.5\db
    3.Delete the file NinjaTrader
Note: you will lose a lot of or your data if you delete your database. However you can undo the process by deleting the new database that is created and reverting the old database name that will now be in your Windows recycle bin.

If this does not work, please copy and paste your code so we can take a look.

      Great Ben,

Leave to your favorite PITA User to cause problems LOL.

After I closed the Pop Up I did not notice anything abnormal on the charts. Since I was not in a trade I decided the prudent thing do was to Exit NT and reboot the computer. All trade data (Sim and Live) appears to be correct after reboot. Do you know if this Error will throw an exception and caused Strategies to Halt? Will it effect any ATM's that may be running? Or any other Order Entries?

If that is just an internal NT house keeping thing and will be rerun periodically then I have no concerns. But if it effects orders then that would be an issue.

FWIW I am putting a serious stress on the computer today looking for limitations and maybe I found the limit for my computer. I am wondering if I clogged up a Pipe or Bus on the Board. Who knows, will watch and report.

        Hello,

You should be fine if you repair your DB as recommended below. In the future if anything like this happens send us your log and trace files via Help>Mail to Support and tell us exactly what you did to produce the error.
