    NT 6.5.1000.13 upgrade catch.

Hi , My previous version was installed on non-default directory. Upgrade procedure put NT on the default directory -
    C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin
    - if I remember correctly without asking any questions. My previous version was on another directory. Now my proprietary indicators cannot compile, because they are looking for NT DLL assemblies in my previous directory.
    The error message is:
Metadata file 'E:\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\NinjaTrader.Core.dll' could not be found
Metadata file 'E:\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\WilsonORMapper.dll' could not be found

This happens with any indicator I'm trying to compile. I cannot delete them.

    Please Help !!!

Compiling is done on the whole NinjaScript environment, not on individual scripts. You compile your entire NinjaScript assembly at the same time.

To fix this you need to right click in the NinjaScript editor, select References, remove the old ones pointing to E:\ and replace them with the correct directory ones pointing to C:\

I did it and it works.

As I don't remember, what happened during the upgrade - Does the installer ask for a folder, or installs to its default directory ?

If you are upgrading, I believe it doesn't.

          It's not a good idea.

            xTrader1,

If you are upgrading it should just take whatever directory you had it installed on and upgrade that. As far as what has happened with your particular install, not sure what may have happened.
