Can anyone help add a .wav file for alerts to this basic indicator

under indicators you will find a basic multi color SMA and basic multi color EMA

the colors on the MA's are blue for up and yellow for flat and red for down

i wanted to have 3 .wav files i could use with this that speak to me one would be trend up, trend flat, and trend down, i can make the .wav files,I just dont know anything about how to program the .wav files into the indicator? Can anyone help?

Sound Files

This should be fairly easy to do. If no one else comes back to you I will look at this later when I have access to my Ninja PC. You have three conditions up, down and flat but you will not want the wave files to sound continously. Do you want the wave files to sound once on a change of direction?

yes you are correct those are the conditions.

i use these conditions on a 1 minute chart and a 5 minute chart, so with both charts running simultaneously each chart would have those 3 conditions, when the multicolor sma,ema changes color ie up,down,flat. and to only signal once when tirggered on close of bar, now we could have multiple trend changes intraday, but that would be based on my settings in sma and ema which would cause another trigger, so if the market shot up i could hear an up and the next bar could be down, this would of course be based on my indicator settings.

Could you please confirm that the indicator you wish me to adapt is the EMA colors indicator in the indicator filesharing section of the forum

Been working on this, just one further question

I understand that you will be only be updating on close of bar, which will solve the problem of continuous alerts. Now if the previous alert is an up and the next alert is an up etc do you wish this alert to be supressed? Ie do you wish the indicator to only fire on a change in direction?

The attached indicator will fire a sound alert at the end of each bar regardless of direction. You will need to adjust the code as indicated in the file so that your own sound file is selected. (Just rename the wave file at the points indicated) The sound files should be placed in your ninja trader sounds directory.

If you wish the sound alerts to be supressed unless a change in direction
as discussed below, I will have to think a little harder on how to do this as the switching logic is a little complicated. However in the meantime you have the attached file to play around with.
