    BarType Time

    I had a simple question. When creating a bartype, how do you calculate the time between each bar created and have the difference in seconds as a variable.

    When looking at the minute chart code, to decide if it starts a new bar or not, it uses

    if (isRealtime && time < lastBar.Time)

    what exactly is time and lastBar.Time referring to?

    JamesMH,

    Unfortunately you are working in unsupported territory and this is outside the scope of what we can offer support for.

    As a hint: time = the currently processing's time.
    lastBar.Time likely means the time of the last bar.
