    Print() Method

    Hi
    I'm trying to do something simple and puzzled by my result
    (new to C#)

    To print a timestamp and the the current bar open to the output window I can do:

    priorO = Open[0];

    Print (ToTime(Time[
    0])+" x"+priorO.ToString("0.0000"));

    priorO is declared as a 'private double'

    Problem --
    When I try to print the 'prior' bar opening value (hence the name of the variable priorO!)

    priorO = Open[1];

    Print (ToTime(Time[
    0])+" x"+priorO.ToString("0.0000"));

    I get no output
    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Welcome to our forums - at the start of your chart Open[1] is not defined, thus you run into this error here -

    Also, to print timestamps you could also use

    PrintWithTimeStamp()
