There have been many previous posts regarding getting historical and real time quote data into excel - like a DDE. However, Ninja does not suppprt this.

Does anyone know of a standardized off-the-shelf excel spreadsheet package with the necessary codes already in place to enable this and live trading to occur?

Many of us mortals are fairly proficiient at Excel but not the programming bits. I am sure this must have been "developed" before.

Well I am looking to be in excel to "drag" specific historical data out of Ninja. For example I may want to pull historical 15 min data for a week for a group of say 20 stocks. Another example is I may want to pull a live snapshot of of prices every 15 mins into excel .

The dates / times and symbol list would be set in cells in excel .

I am not sure if stram-reader can do this or how it integrates into excel and can be driven b

You can do this with a system based off of StreamWriter and some VBA code, both of which I have worked with extensively.
