"What third party UNZIP program will properly UNZIP an NT7 .zip file"
Folks:
Windows XP will not correctly unzip an NT7 .zip file. This happens on any Windows XP.
Several other UNZIP programs also fail with a variety of errors. I fully understand that I can unpack and look at the source code using File/Utilities/Import.
However, as a Certified NT Consultant, I get lots of code samples from people and I do not wish to add their received indicators into my indicator name space just to take the first look look at the code.
So my question is
"What third party UNZIP program will properly UNZIP an NT7 .zip file"
I am not trying to manipulate NinjaScipt outside of NT.
But I do want to inspect it outside of NT to check for incipient compile issues and conflicts..
(Note: this unzip failure does not happen with NT 6.5.)

NO, winrar cant unzip ninja zip files.
And it is very disturbing that MOST emails ( yahoo and MSN ) are reporting and deleting ninja zip files as trojans....

What third party UNZIP program will properly UNZIP an NT7 .zip fil
Ryan:
Thanks for the fast response.
I just download winRAR 400.exe form the site link you provided.
It does view and extract the latest NT7 zip indicator file.
An earlier version of WinRAR (3.45) that I had did not.
It'a a pity that the incompatibility with Windows XP occurred.
If anybody knows of a patch to XP is available I'd be delighted to hear about it.
Does anybody know if Windiws 7 has a similar issue?
Thanks again for the quick support.

Thanks for the update, Roland. Glad to hear winrar works for you.
pmaglio, we're unfortunately not able to reproduce the issue with Winrar + XP. It works OK in our tests here.
You can change the file extension from .zip to something else or without an extension so that mail programs will not flag as malicious.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service
