Help - Error Message from Launching Strategy

    Hi

I have detected this error message in the log and would also like to know the impact of this error message to the strategy (would it make the thing not thinking or not) -

Error validating request - 'cc': cause. The symbol or the local-symbol must be entered ServerValidateError

    thank you

NingNing, which data feed are you using, this looks like a connectivity related issue...if the strategy would not get the approriate data it could be for sure impacted.

I am using TWS. Any idea of why?

Which TWS version are you using with NT's latest 6.5.1000.16 production release?

        Supported is the 906.8 TWS - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

          Hi

I have made a downgrade to 906.9 but still see the same error message. Can you think of any other thing to solve?

          thx

Thanks for testing with the downgrade, for what symbol, exchange and mapping were you having issues here?

              Hi Bertrand,

I got the same error message, when adding the following symbol.
              NIFTY50
              NSE
              TWS 907.7
              NT 6.5.1000.15

              Other exchange is ok.
Does it related to the currency?

              Thank you.

Welcome to our forums - yes, correct the INR as currency is not supported with NT 6.5 - this is supported in NT7 beta.

Hi all, I recently had this problem with some stocks that I manually added to NinjaTrader via the Instrument Manager. The problem was fixed by going into Instrument Manager -> edit the stock -> Misc tab and making sure that the Symbol Map had an entry for the stock next to each connection that I was planning to use i.e. Interactive Brokers and Kinetick in my case. Hope this helps someone!
