Access to "Quote currencies (FX) in" setting

Is this setting available in the object model (if so how)?
Reason: I want to be able to get a standard PIPValue regardless of whether I connect to IB (requires halfPIP) or MBTrading (requires 10th PIP).
For example if there was an attribute say FXQuoteSize (values 1, 0.5 or 0.1) available somewhere I could use it to work out the real standard PIP size of the current instrument, regardless of whether the "Quote currencies (FX)" option had been changed to suit IB or for MBTrading.

DaveE, unfortunately this setting is not accessible programmatically.

OK, then here's a request for this value to be exposed as a public readonly property (say FXQuoteSize).

If someone uses Ticksize in the calculation for an indicator they will find the value changes (for all FX instruments) each time user changes the "Quote currencies (FX) in" setting. If we could divide TickSize by FXQuoteSize we would have a consistent PIPSize.

Let me second that request: absolutely necessary

A somewhat related request would be to allow order amounts to be in dollar terms, in addition to "units". That way I could request to buy $10,000 worth of Japanese yen, for example, and not worry about it being 10,000 or 100,000 units.

          Thanks!
