    How to access session open?

    How to access session open?

    Hello occam,

    We have worked with you on this in your other thread.

    When using a daily series, Open[0] is the current open. You can also use CurrentDayOHL()

    If you are still having difficulty with this, your best bet may be a 3rd party NinjaScript consultant, who can be hired to write code to your specifications.

      Thanks for your patience RyanM

      This must be a bug in v7.0 then

      I run Print(PriorDayOHLC().PriorOpen[0].ToString()); in a daily indicator and I do not get correct open prices.

        What are you comparing to?

        PriorDayOHLC and CurrentDayOHL do not return anything when applied to a daily series.

        if
        (!Bars.BarsType.IsIntraday)
        {
        DrawTextFixed(
        "error msg", "PriorDayOHLC only works on intraday intervals", TextPosition.BottomRight);
        return;
        }

          I am using intraday data. The indicator is set to day in the Market Analyzer.

            What are you comparing to? How have you determined the open price is not correct?

              I enter MSFT in the Market Analyzer, insert the indicator as a type=day, and Print to the output window and compare the value to today's open in Yahoo.

                That comparison does not indicate a bug in NT7. You'll have to use a NinjaTrader chart with the same setup as your market analyzer to compare.
