the mysterious Plot(Graphics) method and ChartControl object

There is nothing in the Ninjatrader 7 help about how to use this. There is supposed to be a sample indicator, CustomPlotSample, somewhere on the forums, but I can't find it.

Also having trouble finding anything for the ChartControl object. How do I get the color of the candle outlines in the price panel?

Hello Ricam,

These are not supported properties so unfortunately there will not be documentation on them. These forums are a good place to see what other users have done and you can also look at some of the built in system indicators for ideas. Heiken ashi uses some ChartControl properties.

The supported property for candle outlines is CandleOutlineColor
