Hello - is it possible to retrieve my Interactive Brokers Account Balance in NinjaTrader? If so, how?

    Thanks,
    Alex

      Is this by design Dierk?

It's certainly do-able by the IB api.. even in excel.

This is beyond the scope of what we provide support for.

I would hope you could consider this addition in the future. The program actually accesses the account value on the "Accounts" tab of the main control center. Seems that there should be code for pulling that value into the Ninja Script and using it. BUT, what "seems reasonable to me" and "reality" are often very, very different since I have nearly zero experience with programming.

          Thanks,

          dendy.

I agree and also would like this functionality. I am new to NT but we plan on developing several strategies and then having them trade automatically. If I have different strategies how can I tell how much Buying Power is available to execute trades? Or do I just have to divide my Buying Power by the number of strategies I plan to run and give each strategy an account value limit (less than ideal for several reasons).

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
