Drawing your own indicator plot

Hi,

If you make your own plot statement to draw OHLC bars
public override void Plot etc

How can you then plot the number small arrow that appears on the right of the chart inside.

Its not plotted when you do a custom plot, but it is there on new plot statement, but as you override the plot, that cursor is missing.

Can you please clarify the number small arrow you would like to see? A screenshot is helpful.


To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Ok, the arrow points to the missing arrow

Thank you for the screenshot. You are looking for price markers. Unfortunately our support for overriding the plot method is limited. We can only point to the provided CustomPlotSample for this. Hopefully another community member with experience with this can offer you feedback.

I don't seem to have CustomPlotSample, can you post the code or point to a location please

It should be available in all NT installation. Click Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > Double Click CustomPlotSample. Let me know if you're not seeing it and will attach to this thread.
