help with converting NT7 indicator to NT 6.5
I am trying to get this MACD BB indicator installed in NT 6.5. It was orginally created for NT 7. When i tried to copy it to the Ninja indicator folder and compile it. I got all kinds of errors. I copied all the cs files in the attached folder including STD EMA,and MACD even though those files were already in there and then the main indicator annaMACD. The compliation errors i receive are "the namespace Ninjatrader. Indicator already contains a definition for EMA, MACd and StdDEV. Again i am trying to get this to work in NT 6.5. Any help would be appreciated. TksTags: None

Hello booker777,
Our support for this is limited. The indicator wrapper generation changed in Version 7 and was not designed for backwards compatibility.
What you should do is leave all the native files for version 6.5 that you can can. This would be EMA, STDDev, MACD.
Then work on transferring the critical indicator logic from the custom file into a new 6.5 indicator rather than bringing over the file directly.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service
