Custom index not plotting from text file

I have imported a text file and setup the data in the datamanager

I the historical data manager I can see the imported daily data, open, high, low and close and volume

The open high low and close is the same number per day, but they do change every day, I did the because it seems the import template asked for it

I cant plot that data on a chart. no bar charts at all, but the data is there

    Any ideas?

And its not bringing through the correct data in the data manager

It seems to be adding 2 decimal points, where my data has none, I am using 1 point value in the data

And volume is coming through at 100, where it is zero in the text file

          Hello,

          Thanks for the forum post.

First you will want to change the name of the txt file. As most likely it is not importing for the correct symbol.

Also am I reading your text file this has a price of 5301622 as its normal range, Dont see very many that high so wanted to check.

Secondly, volume of 0 is not supported in NinjaTrader and also the numbers will be changed to fit the stock/future/index that it should be importing into.

I look forward to assisting you further.

The data is in the instrument manager, and there is data in the data manager itself, its just not the same as in the text file

the values are correct though, its a custom index.

Can you try and import and see if the data that is in NT get corrupted?

            Thanks

              Hi Tinkerz,

It's working OK here - no data corruption. Please check your settings when importing and the settings for your custom instrument.
Time zone of imported data = your time zone.
              TickSize = 1

5 = 5.00 so I wouldn't be too concerned about the two decimal points. They'll show up as well if you're using ^DJIA.
