Am looking for documentation for programming in Ninja Script.

As an example, the code that makes the median renko bars is relatively short and straightforward.

What I'd like to know is where to find documentation about many of the NinjaTrader namespace method calls used within, such as "AddBar", "UpdateBar", and so forth. It doesn't appear to be anywhere in the 6.5 or 7.0 "Help Guide", but someone in the forum must know.

The best possible solution would be something like Java-style HTML docs for the entire NinjaTrader namespace. With docs like that, you can do anything.

Documentation is not available for everything you can do in our framework. We support NinjaScript items that are documented in our help guide. An alphabetical listing of NinjaScript items is here:

Community members here can of course help with undocumented and unsupported features. Although, you will likely get the best response if you can provide some information on what you're looking to do. This will also allow us at NinjaTrader to assess whether it can be accomplished using supported techniques.

Just to add some clarificaiton...

We have a framework that is used in the development of the NinjaTrader platform. "NinjaScript" is the officially supported and documented subset of this framework for the development of custom indicators and strategies. Any aspect of our framework that is not documented we do not provide support for although we know many developers venture into this territory.

Last Traded Bid Volume and Offer Volume

Is there anyway i can get the last trade Bid/offer volume from the condition builder ? I am working on a strategy that looks at the last trade volume of the bid and/or offer.


Any Suggestion?
